E.B. Roland

Author of her debut low fantasy novel, Kya. [Ki-ah]

Roland is a Michigan native, raised in a rural community. As an introvert, she grew up loving to read and in college discovered a love of writing. Encouraged by friends she worked with at summer camp, she wrote her first novella in 2011. In 2013, she participated in NaNoWriMo for the first time and from there was determined to publish a book someday. After several attempts with other stories, she found a story worth telling in Kya.

A fan of fantasy, romance, and mystery, Roland has a knack for creating memorable characters, detailed settings, and surprising plot twists.

When she's not writing, she enjoys reading, travelling, going on walks, crocheting, listening to music, gardening, spending time with friends, and volunteering at her local 4-H fair. She is also a member of several fandoms including Doctor Who, Harry Potter, The Avengers, and many more.
